As part of Cedars dedication to creating the highest quality, state-of-the-art construction projects, we offer a number of Green Building resources utilizing techniques that minimize potential harm to the environment.
We focus on ways of building that minimize the use of products that require considerable embodied energy for manufacture or transportation and building with techniques that don’t further pollute the environment, consume more fossil fuel, or unnecessarily extract the resources of Mother Earth.
Using alternative building materials to create its Green Building projects, Cedars utilizes a variety of indoor and outdoor wall finishes, foundation materials, flooring materials, insulation materials, counter top materials and wood products, all coming from a variety of sources that help keep the environment in a healthy condition.
With all of this in mind, Cedars sets an objective to protect the environment with Green Building techniques whenever possible, creating projects that are not only environmentally friendly, but also have a beautiful, natural aesthetic feel.
